Thanksgiving Dinner 2008

As an International Church, we decided to celebrate the American Thankgiving Dinner. The date is not recognised as a public holiday in Germany, but in this area of Germany Buß und Betag (Prayer and Repentance Day) is a public holiday and occurs in the latter part of November. So on Wednesday 19th November 2008 we invited everyone to come to the meeting room and bring some food to share with others. The food was either to be appropriate to Thanksgiving or a dish from their own land. Around 90 people came and everyone had a wonderful time and more than enough to eat. Praise God!
