WICHTIGE ANSAGE!
Aus unterschiedlichen Gründen haben wir uns entschieden unserer Gemeinde den neuen Namen All Nations Christian Assembly zu geben. Diese Veränderung ist nur geringfügig, befähigt uns aber uns von anderen Gemeinden zu unterscheiden. Der neue Name wird ab dem 15. März 2009 in Kraft treten und wir hoffen bis dahin alle Schilder und Literatur geändert zu haben. Wir werden keinen zweisprachigen, englisch/deutschen Namen mehr haben, aber einen informativen Satz wie "eine deutsch-englische Gemeinde" hinzufügen.
Wir hatten gehofft diese Veränderung bei der Gemeindeversammlung bekannt zu geben, hatten uns jedoch noch in Dresden bezüglich des Namens beraten lassen, was die Entscheidung verzögerte.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
For various reasons we felt it was important to change the church name. The change is quite small, but it will enable us to distinguish ourselves. The new name will be All Nations Christian Assembly. The change will take effect from 15 March 2009, and we hope to have all the signs and literature altered by then. We will no longer use a dual German/English name, but have a strap line which says “Eine deutsch-englische Gemeinde” underneath.
We had hoped to make an announcement at the church meeting. However, we were consulting within Dresden on a new name and received some helpful advice which delayed the final decision.

Eines der Privilegien die wir haben, ist die Fähigkeit die Bibel in unserer eigenen Sprache zu lesen. Jeder von uns hat die Aufgabe das Wort Gottes zu studieren, so dass wir zu einem vollen Verständnis der wunderbaren Wahrheiten der Botschaft Jesu Christi kommen können. Zusätzlich zur Bibel gibt es viele andere Hilfsmittel, wie z.B. Kommentare, Bibelwörterbücher, usw. Diese sind in Buchform oder auch als Software erhältlich und erleichtern das Suchen. Man hat Zugang zu vielen dieser Materialien auf Webseiten oder sie können als Software heruntergelanden werden. Die folgenden Webseiten sind nur einige Beispiele derer, die Bibeln in unterschiedlichen Sprachen und Studienhilfsmittel zur Verfügung stellen: www.biblegateway.com (Bibeln in unterschiedlichen Sprachen), www.bibleserver.com (viele deutsche Bibeln), www.blueletterbible.org (Studienhilfsmittel).

One of our privileges is the ability to read the bible in our own language. Each of us has a duty to study God’s word for ourselves in order that we may fully understand the wonderful truths of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. In addition to the bible, there are many other study aids available such as commentaries, bible dictionaries, etc. These can be found in both paper or in software form that makes searching easier. Such material can often be accessed at web-sites or as freely available software to download.

Februar 2009 - Deutsch
1 Kor 14:23/26 Wenn nun die ganze Gemeinde am selben Ort zusammenkäme ... Wie ist es nun, ihr Brüder? Wenn ihr zusammenkommt, so hat jeder von euch etwas: einen Psalm, eine Lehre, eine Sprachenrede, eine Offenbarung, eine Auslegung; alles laßt zur Erbauung geschehen!
Wir haben uns vor kurzem zusammengesetzt um Rückschau über die Fortschritte der Gemeinde in den letzten sechs Monaten zu halten und der Herr hat uns sehr ermutigt. Die oben angeführten Verse stehen im 1. Korintherbrief, den Paulus an eine Gruppe schreibt, die er als die Gemeinde Gottes in Korinth, bezeichnet. Der Brief ist nicht and die Ältesten, die Pastoren oder die Bischhöfe gerichtet, sondern an die Versammlung. Paulus erwartete, dass wenn die Gemeinde zusammen kam, viele etwas vom Herrn empfangen hatte, das sie mit den anderen teilen konnten.
Ich möchte jeden einzelnen ermutigen, den Herren zu suchen, ob er möchte, dass Du etwas in der Versammlung teilst. Wenn der Geist während der Versammlung zu Dir spricht, sei bereit etwas zum Gottesdienst beizutragen, sei es ein Wort der Schrift, ein Gebet, usw. .
Paulus erinnert die Korinther, dass es zur Auferbauung dient. Dies ist nicht eine Zeit um für Deine eigenen Ideen zu werben, einander mit trivialen Geschichten zu unterhalten, oder noch schlimmer, einander zu kritisieren. Statt dessen ist dies eine Gelegenheit Dinge zu teilen die einander geistlich auferbauen. Bitte komm zu den Veranstaltungen in der Bereitschaft ein fruchtbarer Teil des wachsenden Leibes zu sein.
Später im gleichen Kapitel schreibt Paulus voller Zuversicht: 1 Kor 14:31 “Denn ihr könnt alle einer nach dem anderen weissagen, damit alle lernen und alle ermahnt werden.” Bist Du bereit einer von “allen” zu sein?

1 Cor 14:23/26 Therefore if the whole church comes to-gether in one place … How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
We recently met to review the progress of the church after the first six months, and the Lord has been encouraging us greatly. The verses above are from 1 Corinthians, where Paul writes to a group he calls the Church of God which is at Corinth. It is not addressed to elders, or pastors, or bishops, but the general gathering. His expectation was that when the church gathered many would have something they had received from the Lord to share.
I would like to encourage each one of you to seek the Lord, if there is anything He would like you to share in the meeting. And be prepared, if He stirs your spirit during our gathering, to contribute by praying, reading a scripture, etc.
Paul is careful to remind the Corinthians it is for edification. It is not a time to promote our own ideas, to regale each other with trivial stories, or worse to use it to criticize or undermine. But it is an opportunity to share things that edify each other. Do come to the meetings prepared to be a fruitful part of this growing body.
Later in the same chapter, Paul is very bold, when he says, 1 Cor 14:31 “For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.” (KJV) Can you be one of the all?

Januar 2009 - Deutsch
Am Anfang des neuen Jahres haben wir Grund uns zu freuen, denn Ist jemand in Christus, so ist er eine neue Schöpfung (2 Kor 5:17). Wir haben jedoch noch mehr worauf wir uns freuen können. Als Jesus seine Jünger lehrte sprach er darüber was in der kommenden Welt passieren wird (Matt 19:28). Wenn Jesus von der kommenden neuen Welt sprich, bezieht er sich auf eine Zeit in der Zukunft wenn alles richtig gestellt sein wird. Wir sind die ersten Früchte seiner Pläne und eines Tages wird auch alles andere zurechtgebracht werden. Jetzt können wir in eine rechte Beziehung mit Gott gebracht werden und befähigt werden ein heiliges und gerechtes Leben zu leben. Jedoch es gibt noch Vieles in dieser Welt das nicht richtig ist und diese Welt kann und wird nicht immer so fortfahren. Zwei Mal sagt Gott ganz deutlich, dass es einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde geben wird. Zuerst durch Jesaja, ungefähr 700 Jahre vor Christus:
Denn siehe, ich schaffe einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde .. (Isa 65:17a)
Und dann durch den Apostel Johannes, ungefähr 100 Jahre nach der Geburt Jesu:
Und ich sah einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde; denn der erste Himmel und die erste Erde waren vergangen. (Rev 21:1a)
Dies ist ein wunderbarer Ort von dem Johannes in dem gleichen Kapitel schreibt, Und es wird niemals jemand in sie hineingehen, der verunreinigt (Rev 21:27a). Bereite dich auf diesen neuen Himmel und die neue Erde vor!
Ich wünsche Euch ein frohes neues Jahr in dem wir uns auf eine ganz frohe Ewigkeit freuen!!

As we go into a New Year, it is wonderful to rejoice that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation (2 Cor 5:17). But we have something even more to look forward to. For in teaching His disciples, Jesus comments about things that will happen in the regeneration (Matt 19:28). When we think of regeneration, we immediately think of new birth, but Jesus is referring to a day in the future when all things will be put right or regenerated. We are the first fruits of His plans, but one day everything will be made right Now we can be made right with God and empowered to live a holy and righteous life, but there are still many things in this world that are not right. But this world will not, indeed cannot, continue as it is. Twice God clearly states that there will be a new heaven and a new earth. Firstly, through Isaiah around 700years before Christ:
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth .. (Isa 65:17a)
And then secondly through the apostle John around 100 years after Christ’s birth:
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. (Rev 21:1a)
And this is a wonderful place for John tells us later in the same chapter that there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles…(Rev 21:27a). Make sure that you are properly prepared for this new heaven and new earth!
